Native to the Mexican states of Hidalgo and San Luis Potosi, this plant is a must have for any carnivorous plant enthusiuast.

Care Instructions:

  • Light: Bright, indirect sunlight or grow lights.
  • Water: Distilled, RO or rainwater only. Allow soil to dry between waterings
  • Environment: Use a well-draining soil mix composed of sand, pumice, and vermiculite or plant directly on rocks.
  • Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula soil mix (also available in our store!)
  • Feeding/fertilization: Fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks (not mandatory)
  • Humidity: 50-80%
  • Temperature: 55-85°F
