Known for its long, elegant and bright pink leaves that can reach up to 6 inches and its soft lavender flowers, this fast-growing butterwort is a standout in any carnivorous plant collection.

Care Instructions

  • Light: Bright, filtered light - a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights
  • Potting medium: Two parts perlite, one part peat (or Mexican Pinguicula mix)
  • Feeding: Insects, fish food, freeze-dried bloodworms or mealworms every 3–4 weeks
  • Water: Keep soil lightly damp with purified water
  • Humidity: 50–80%
  • Temperature: 55–85°F
