Originally bred by Kew Botanical Gardens, Pinguicula 'Kewensis' is a robust Mexican butterwort created from multiple varieties of P. moranensis. It forms an attractive rosette and grows steadily, reaching up to 4 inches in diameter with proper care. With its easy-going nature and attractive rosette, it's a great choice for beginners and collectors alike.

What Makes Ours Different

What You’ll Receive

Care Instructions

  • Light: Partial to full sun, or grow light equivalent
  • Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula soil mix (also available in our store!)
  • Feeding: Bugs, dried bloodworms, fish food, or diluted foliar fertilizer (e.g. Maxsea) every 2–3 weeks
  • Water: Keep media damp during carnivorous phase; reduce watering once succulent rosette forms
  • Humidity: 50–80% with good airflow
  • Temperature: 55–85°F
