First described in 1991 by Paul Debbert, Pinguicula jaumavensis is a compact Mexican butterwort native to the rock walls of Jaumave, Tamaulipas. Though some consider it a subspecies  of P. esseriana or P. ehlersiae, our clone has distinctively pointed leaves and a light green to pink coloration
